A general election was held on 7 August 2020 to elect 100 members to the 14th Parliament of the United Kingdom. The election took place under the mixed-member proportional representation system, with 50 MPs being elected from 50 first-past-the-post constituencies, with another 50 being elected from 12 regional party lists. The election saw Yukub's Conservative Party returned as the largest party, albeit with less seats, having lost 3 from the last general election and 7 from Parliament's dissolution. Notably, the Libertarian Party under Friedmanite19 overtook the Labour Party as the second-largest party in the House of Commons. After the election, the Conservatives and Libertarians agreed to form the Third Conservative-Libertarian coalition government, while the Labour Party formed an official opposition with the Democratic Reformist Front.
